Wednesday, June 8 - GENEVA EXTENSION
Fly from Munich, Germany to Geneva, Switzerland. In the afternoon, visit the International Museum of the Reformation. This is a museum where the past is intertwined with the present. The first room in the Museum explains to the visitor that the Bible was the very basis of the Reformation in the XVIth century. There is a special showcase for Martin Luther and his particular contribution. To enable ordinary people to understand the Bible, considered the Word of God, the Reformers translated it into the vernacular, and printing, the latest invention, contributed greatly to make it accessible to all.
