Notably, the Hubbard Glacier vicinity is renowned for its abundant wildlife. Whales, harbor seals, and playful otters gracefully navigate the waters while brown bears, moose, and black-tailed deer wander the scenic shoreline. Wednesday, June 19 - VANCOUVER, CANADA (Disembark Ship)

In a surprising turn of events, "Gassy Jack" Deighton, an unlikely character, played a significant role in the creation of one of the most beautiful cities on the continent. During the gold rush, he seized the opportunity to profit from the waves of miners heading to the Yukon. The saloon he constructed became the focal point of the shanty town Gastown, which later evolved into modern-day Vancouver.

The provincial government successfully convinced settlers to rename Vancouver, honoring Captain George Vancouver, who had explored the region's waters in 1792. Today, Vancouver is Canada's third-largest city, boasting a cosmopolitan ambiance with a distinctly European feel. Its vibrant community reflects a rich blend of cultures, including the second-largest Chinatown in North America. The city is adorned with stunningly breathtaking parks, enhancing its natural allure. In essence, Vancouver is a captivating destination that defies expectations. Despite its unlikely origins, it has blossomed into a vibrant and diverse metropolis characterized by its distinct personality and sensational natural surroundings.
