At Sea in the Drake Passage and Beagle Channel: Today is a beautiful day on the Drake Passage. Like I said in the beginning of this blog series, this water is known as the “Drake Shake” when it’s bad, and the “Drake Lake” when it’s not. Well, today it is definitely the Drake Lake. Hardly a wave on the water.
We are enjoying walking on the outside decks in our shirt sleeves without any snow underfoot. The sun is shining bright, and we especially enjoy cruising down the Beagle Channel.
This is our last day on the ship, so I thought I should show you some pictures of the ship we are on—Lindblad National Geographic Endurance. So, check out the pictures below and see the captions.
