Dubrovnik – Now here’s a wall worth walking!

This morning we woke up to another beautiful day.  We have had the best weather – clear skies and comfortable temperatures.  We’ve been looking forward to this day – the old city of Dubrovnik with its wonderful, ancient, scenic wall.

The old city is filled with small shops – eateries, cafes art galleries, local craft shops and, of course, their share of souvenir shops.  The streets are all pedestiran streets, so the only vehicles you see are a few delivery vehicles.  The buildings are all ancient stone from the 6th and 7th centuries.

The entire old city is surrounded with an old city wall that is hundreds of fett high over the water in some places.  This is one of the best places in all of Europe and Middle East to “walk the wall”, so I’m simply going to let the pictures tell the story for me.
