This week we hosted a team from St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Tallahassee. We had 19 teenagers. It’s been awhile since I’ve been around high school kids, so I didn’t know how it would go. They were fantastic!! They brought so much fun and energy. Since the group was so big they split up and half of them went to Chuixic to construct a home
and the other half went across the lake to help plaster a church and have VBS for the kids.
The pastor wanted to start a new program to teach the kids about Jesus and our job was to provide visual aids. It was fun seeing the teens in the different costumes and Joe even did his clown thing.
Unfortunately, at the beginning of the week, I developed a cold that turned into a sinus infection. I tried to at least do half days, but I wasn’t having as much fun as I would have if I was feeling better. It was still a great week though.
